Hello Sir, this is an excellent Video and we would like to show the full Video at the german Anime Convention “Connichi” this September. The audience will probably be somewhere between 20-200 people. Will this be alright? Kind regards, Cenit
Sure, you can use any of my video. I added a direct download link under each video. I wasn’t sure about releasing the full video but judging by the number of good feedback I got, I guess it was a good decision.
Awesome videos, especially the long one. Is there a reason you haven’t listed it on youtube? I already thought about writing to NHK World that they should feature it – it really makes me want to go to Japan and visit all those places 🙂 Is there a version with an even higher bitrate?
I haven’t listed it on Youtube cause it’s too long and I think would be boring for a big part of my audience. I prefer to use the short version as a preview for those who want to see more. The direct download is 4800 kbps but I also have a 6500 kbps that I used for the Youtube upload which is 1.77 GB but I haven’t put it on my server cause there’s not much difference is visible quality.
Thank you for the really excellent video. 🙂 Can you speak/read Japanese or do you got trouble with the English language in Japan? How long was your trip? I plan a trip to Japan for the next year. So, a few information about the trip are maybe useful. 🙂 Greetings from Germany, DerDark
I know a few words and expressions in Japanese but I can’t read at all. I just ask stuff in English which seems to work most of the times but everybody replies in Japanese even thought they know you don’t understand but with gesture it usually goes ok in the end. This trip was 18 days long which is way too short. Let me know is you want to know anything else.
I’m fond of both videos and I’m listening to many songs from them. I can feel excitement and happiness of going to and being in Japan pouring from the screen! Your love for this country makes this video truly beautiful. Thank you for hard work. Galina
I’m curious how you did all your low ground shots. Did you actually bend down filming while walking or did you had some kind of equipment connected to your camera?
Hi, thanks for the offer, that could be interesting. I already have several travel plans for now including a new visit in Tokyo next month. I’ll get back to you if I manage to free some time (I hope you speak English though).

As always, Your videos are awesome XD Btw. That Japan 2013 Videos, that song…..i wonder did you play the AT Game Series too ?
What’s that ? Probably not.
Did you shoot it 60fps?
1080p@30
Ah. Did you use premiere’s warp stabilizer on each clip?
Yes it’s 99% warp stabilized. Took a while to adapt settings for each shot.
