5th February 2012Â :Â Snow day on Paris
Almost every year, we get 1 to 3 days with snow around Paris. It’s a pretty rare event that makes the city look very different but it really doesn’t last for long. This year, I went to take some pictures at La Defense (again) but didn’t have the chance to go inside Paris.

I got to try my new lens, Tamron 60mm f2.0 macro 1:1. This lens allows a high depth of field control and extended low-light shooting ability with its ultra-wide f2 aperture. It’s also perfect for portrait and macro. The auto-focus is a bit slow and sometimes fails but this kind of lens is built for manual focus. It’s a bit weird not being able to zoom at first, but you get used to it and you learn to walk around to find the best point of view.
