Sulaco Visual Style – Dexpot Tutorial

As requested, here’s a tutorial showing how to use and configure Dexpot to get roll-up and default transparency on Explorer windows.

I know that I’m super slow on updating SVS. I have a lot of stuff that are keeping me busy but I’ll try to release a new version of the theme after I’m done with my current AMV project. For the moment, I just want to show you a bit how to play with Dexpot which is the program that I mentioned in my SULACO System post that I use to optimize my screen space (rollup windows) and to set behaviour of windows (transparency, click action, etc…).

Icarus Windows XP Theme

This theme was made for Windows XP, it’s a Classic theme so it should work fine on Windows Vista/7 if you activate classic theme. Of course, it’s compatible with Windows 95/98/Me. I made it in 2003 for ICARUS, my first computer. I compiled all the files I had but you’re gonna have to take some time to look into it because there’s a lot of stuff and you might have to modify some config files in order to make it work properly.

Auriga Windows XP Theme

As requested, here’s the AURIGA Windows XP theme.

This theme was made for Windows XP, it’s a Classic theme so it should work fine on Windows Vista/7 if you activate classic theme. Of course, it’s compatible with Windows 95/98/Me. It’s been running on AURIGA till this day and I also installed it on my computer at work. Colleagues and the IT guy keep telling me how weird it looks but I think it’s more comfortable for the eyes than the default windows bright white-in-your-face theme.
